Lane Restrictions Scheduled on Several State Highways for Guide Rail Repair
and Sign Inspections in Philadelphia Region

Lane closures are scheduled next week on Route 611, Route 309, I-76 and
U.S. 1
in the Philadelphia region for overhead sign inspections and guide rail
repair,
the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, April 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, left and right lane closures
are
scheduled on northbound and southbound Route 611 between Edison Furlong
Road
and Business U.S. 202 in Doylestown Township, Bucks County, for overhead
sign
inspections;
• Tuesday, April 11, through Friday, April 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
left
and right lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound Route
309
between the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276) and Welsh Road in Upper Dublin
and
Lower Gwynedd townships, Montgomery County, for overhead sign inspections;
• Thursday, April 13, from 12:00 AM to 3:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled
to
close on northbound U.S. 1 over the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, for
guide
rail repair; and
• Thursday, April 13, from 10:00 PM to 12:00AM, the left lane is scheduled
to
close on the ramp from westbound Interstate 76 to northbound U.S. 1 in
Philadelphia, for guide rail repair.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
zones. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
