Travel Restrictions Scheduled on Several State Highways for Maintenance
Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in
the
Philadelphia region, for maintenance operations, the Pennsylvania
Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:
• Saturday, April 8, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled
on eastbound Interstate 76 between Interstate 476 and Belmont Avenue in
West
Conshohocken Borough and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, for tree
and
debris removal;
• Monday, April 10, through Thursday, April 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
intermittent right lane closures are scheduled on southbound Route 100
(Pottstown Pike) between Route 73 (Philadelphia Avenue) and U.S. 422, in
Douglas and Upper Pottsgrove townships and Pottstown Borough, Montgomery
County, for inlet cleaning and pipe flushing;
• Monday, April 10, through Thursday, April 13, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM,
the
ramp from Columbus Boulevard at Lombard Circle to northbound Interstate 95
is
scheduled to close in Philadelphia, for deck repairs. Columbus Boulevard
motorists will be detoured over Washington Avenue or Race Street to reach
northbound I-95;
• Monday, April 10, through Friday, April 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on westbound U.S. 30 Bypass
between
Route 10 (Octorara Trail) and Route 282 (Creek Road) in Sadsbury, Valley,
West
Brandywine and Caln townships, Chester County, for pavement patching;
• Monday, April 10, through Friday, April 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on eastbound and westbound Route 926 (Street
Road)
between Route 10 (Limestone Road) and Pocopson Road in Londonderry, West
Marlborough and Pennsbury townships, Chester County, for crack sealing.
Traffic
will be controlled by flagging;
• Monday, April 10, and Tuesday, April 11, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on southbound I-95 between the
Philadelphia County line and Delaware state line in Delaware County, for
pavement patching;
• Wednesday, April 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, intermittent lane closures
are
scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Delaware state line and the
Philadelphia County line in Delaware County, for pavement patching;
• Friday, April 14, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Highland Road will be closed
in
both directions at Route 10 (Limestone Road) in Highland Township, Chester
County, for pipe and inlet installation. Highland Road motorists will be
detoured over Route 10 (Limestone Road), Route 41 (Gap-Newport Pike) and
Route
372 (Lower Valley Road); and
• Monday, April 17, through Friday, April 21, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Kirk
Lane will be closed between Ridley Creek Road and Orange Street in Upper
Providence Township, Delaware County, for pipe replacement. Kirk Lane
motorists
will be detoured over U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike), Ridley Creek Road and Orange
Street.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work
zones.
