Overnight Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on I-95, I-476 and U.S. 1
for Guide Rail Repair in Delaware County

Motorists will encounter travel restrictions next week on Interstate 95,
Interstate 476 and U.S. 1 (Media Bypass) for guide rail repair, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Wednesday, July 5, from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM, the right lane is scheduled
to
close on northbound I-95 between the Kerlin Street and Edgmont Avenue
interchanges in the City of Chester and Upland Borough;
• Thursday, July 6, from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled
to
close on southbound I-476 between the U.S. 1 and MacDade Boulevard
interchanges
in Nether Providence Township;
Thursday, July 6, from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled to
close
on northbound I-95 between the Edgmont Avenue and Ridley Park interchanges
in
the City of Chester, Ridley Park Borough and Ridley Township;
• Friday, July 7, from 12:00 AM to 3:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled to
close
on northbound U.S. 1 (Media Bypass) between Baltimore Pike and Route 252
(Providence Road) in Middletown and Upper Providence townships; and
• Friday, July 7, from 3:00 AM to 5:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled to
close
on northbound I-476 between the U.S. 1 and Route 3 (West Chester Pike)
interchanges in Marple Township.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
