Weekday Lane Closures Scheduled on U.S. 322 and U.S. 1 (Media Bypass) for
Sign and Guide Rail Operations in Delaware County

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on U.S. 322 (Conchester
Highway)
and U.S. 1 (Media Bypass) in Delaware County for sign installation and
guide
rail repair operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
(PennDOT)
announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, July 17, through Friday, July 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one
lane
is scheduled to close in both directions on U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway)
between U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) and Interstate 95 in Upper Chichester and
Concord townships for sign installations;
• Tuesday, July 18, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the right lane is scheduled
to
close on northbound U.S. 1 (Media Bypass) between Route 252 (Providence
Road)
and Interstate 476 in Upper Providence Township for guide rail repair; and
• Tuesday, July 18, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the right lane is scheduled
to
close on northbound U.S. 1 (Media Bypass) between U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike)
and
Route 252 (Providence Road) in Upper Providence and Middletown townships
for
guide rail repair.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area

because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather
dependent.
