I-95 South Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week for Guide Rail Repair in Bucks
County and Philadelphia

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on Interstate 95 in Bucks
County
and Philadelphia for guide rail repairs, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Monday, August 7, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
southbound I-95 between the Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) and Academy Road
interchanges in Bensalem Township, Bucks County;
• Monday, August 7, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the left lane is scheduled to
close on southbound I-95 between the Route 332 (Newtown/Yardley) and U.S. 1
interchanges in Middletown Township, Bucks County; and
• Thursday, August 10, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning, the left
lane
is scheduled to close on southbound I-95 between the Bridge Street and
Castor
Avenue/Allegheny Avenue interchanges in Philadelphia.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
