I-95 Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week for Large Sign Maintenance in
Philadelphia

Lane closures are scheduled next week on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia for
large sign structure maintenance, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation
(PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, March 26, through Friday, March 30, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the
following morning, temporary lane closures are scheduled on northbound I-95
at
the Aramingo Avenue/Betsy Ross Bridge Interchange; and
• Monday, March 26, through Friday, March 30, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the
following morning, lane closures are scheduled on southbound I-95 between
the
Columbus Boulevard/Washington Avenue and Interstate 76 interchanges.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Under this improvement project, PennDOT is replacing and repairing large
sign
structures, including overhead signs throughout Bucks, Chester, Delaware,
Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.

Work on the entire project is expected to be completed in August 2019.

J. D. Eckman, Inc., of Atglen, Chester County is the general contractor on
the
$2,796,024 project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
