I-95 Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week for Resurfacing Operations in Delaware County
King of Prussia, PA – Northbound and southbound Interstate 95 motorists will encounter lane closures between the Highland Avenue/U.S. 322 West Interchange and the Delaware State line in Upper Chichester, and Lower Chichester townships, and the City of Chester, Delaware County, on Sunday, October 14, through Saturday, October 20, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, for milling and paving operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 through the work area. All scheduled operations are weather dependent and subject to change.
This project is part of the governor's Resurface PA initiative, an aggressive campaign launched by PennDOT to accelerate repaving interstates and attacking potholes across the state's 40,000 miles of PennDOT-maintained roads, the nation's fifth largest such system.
