Colebrookdale Railroad to Close Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) This Weekend for Resurfacing in Pottstown Borough
King of Prussia, PA – Colebrookdale Railroad is planning to close Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) between Shoemaker Road and Manatawny Street in Pottstown Borough, Montgomery County, from 9:00 PM Friday, November 16, to 6:00 AM Monday, November 19, for railroad crossing resurfacing, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
During the closure, vehicular traffic will be directed to use Route 100 (Pottstown Pike, King Street, Manatawny Street and State Street. Large trucks will be directed to use Route 100 (Pottstown Pike), Route 724 (Schuylkill Road), Hanover Street, Farmington Avenue, Wilson Street and State Street.
Prior to the weekend closure, Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) will be reduced to a single lane in each direction between Shoemaker Road and Manatawny Street on Friday, November 16, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
