I-95 Lane Closures Planned This Weekend for Pipe Replacement in City of Chester, Delaware County
King of Prussia, PA – Delaware County Regional Water Authority (Delcora) is planning single and double lane closures this weekend on Interstate 95 in both directions between the Interstate 476 and Route 320/Route 352 interchanges in City of Chester, Delaware County, for pipe replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule on I-95 is:
- Friday, November 16, from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM, the center lane will be closed in both directions;
- Friday, November 16, from 11:00 PM to 10:00 AM Saturday, November 17, the center and left lanes will be closed in both directions;
- Saturday, November 17, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, the center lane will be closed in both directions;
- Saturday, November 17, from 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM Sunday, November 18, the center and left lanes will be closed in both directions;
- Sunday, November 18, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, the center lane will be closed in both directions; and
- Sunday, November 18, from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM Monday, November 19, the center and left lanes will be closed in both directions.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and slowdowns will occur.
All activities are weather dependent. If rain causes the cancellation of this operation, the scheduled activities will be moved to Friday, November 30, through Monday, December 3.
Delcora will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
