PennDOT to Repair Potholes Next Week on More Than 60 State Highways in the Philadelphia Region
King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that maintenance and contractor crews will be working on more than 60 state highways next week to repair deteriorated pavement across the Philadelphia region. The roadways include:
Bucks County
- Route 32 (River Road) in Tinicum, Plumsteadm Solebury townships;
- Route 113 (Souderton Road) in Tinicum Township;
- Route 213 (Maple Avenue/Bridgetown Pike) in Middletown, Lower Southampton townships, Langhorne Borough;
- Route 232 (Second Street Pike) in Wrightstown Township;
- Route 412 (Geigel Hill Road) in Tinicum Township;
- South Main Street in Perkasie Borough;
- Fleecydale Road in Solebury Township;
- Callowhill Road in New Britian, Hilltown townships;
- Stump Road in Hilltown Township;
- Hilltown Pike in Hilltown Township;
- Stump Road in Hilltown Township;
- Tohickon Hill Road in Plumstead Township;
- Bristol Road in Warrington Township;
- Winchester Road in Middletown Township, Langhorne Borough;
- Aquetong Road in New Hope Borough;
- State Road in Bristol Township, Bensalem Borough;
- Pennsbury Road in Falls Township;
- Radcliffe Street in Bristol Borough; and
- Stony Hill Road in Lower Makefield Township.
Chester County
- Route 82 (Manor Road) in West Nantmeal Township;
- Route 895 (Newark Road) in Penn & New London townships;
- Ship Road in Uwchlan Township;
- Bethel Church Road in East Coventry Township;
- Chestnut Tree Road in Honey Brook Township;
- Lower Pine Creek Road in West Pikeland Township;
- Old Wilmington Road in West Caln Township;
- Media Road in East Nottingham Township;
- Stricklersville Road in Franklin Township;
- Yellow Springs Road in Tredyffrin Township;
- Country Club Road in Tredyffrin Township;
- Devon State Road in Easttown Township;
- Old Eagle School Road in Tredyffrin Township;
- King Road in West Whiteland, East Whiteland townships;
- Boot Road in East Township; and
- Pottstown Pike in West Goshen, West Whiteland townships.
Delaware County
- Interstate 95 in Upper Chichester Township;
- U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) in Concord, Middletown townships;
- Route 320 (Sproul Road) in Nether Providence, Radnor townships;
- Route 352 (Edgemont Avenue) in Brookhaven Borough;
- Route 452 (Pennell Road) in Aston Township;
- Concord Road in Chester Township;
- State Road in Upper Darby Township; and
- Lansdowne Avenue in Upper Darby Township.
Montgomery County
- U.S. 422 in Lower Providence, Upper Providence, Limerick, Lower Pottsgrove, North Coventry townships;
- Morris Road/Harrington Road in Lower Merion Township;
- Gulph Road in Upper Merion Township;
- Davisville Road in Upper Moreland Township;
- Gypsy Hill Road in Lower Gwynedd Township;
- Fort Washington Avenue in Lower Moreland Township;
- Byberry Road in Hatboro Borough; and
- Park Avenue in Lower Providence Township.
Philadelphia County
- Interstate 95;
- U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue)
- Route 532 (Bustleton Avenue/Welsh Road);
- Broad Street (Route 611);
- Broad Street;
- Market Street;
- Grays Ferry Avenue;
- State Road;
- Tacony Street; and
- Adams Avenue.
Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent.
PennDOT would also like to remind motorists that potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.penndot.gov and clicking on "Submit Roadway Feedback."
