I-95, I-476, U.S. 1 Lane Closures Scheduled for Guide Rail Repair in Delaware and Bucks Counties
King of Prussia, PA – Lane closures are scheduled on Interstate 95, Interstate 476 and U.S. 1 in Delaware and Bucks counties, Sundays through Fridays, for guide rail repairs, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Sunday, September 22, through Friday, October 4, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-476 between I-95 and the Montgomery County Line in Ridley, Nether Providence, Marple, Haverford and Radnor townships, Delaware County;
- Sunday, September 22, through Friday, October 4, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1 between the Chester County Line and the Montgomery County Line in Upper Darby, Haverford, Springfield, Marple, Upper Providence, Middletown, Concord and Birmingham townships and Chester Heights Borough, Delaware County;
- Sunday, September 22, through Friday, October 4, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the Delaware State Line and Bartram Avenue Interchange in Chester, Chichester, Lower Chichester, Ridley and Upper Tinicum townships, The City of Chester, Upland and Ridley Park boroughs, Delaware County; and
- Wednesday, September 25, through Friday, September 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, left lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the Route 413 (Veterans Highway) and Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) interchanges in Bensalem and Bristol townships, Bucks County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
