Philadelphia Parks and Recreation to Close Cobbs Creek Parkway Next Week for Trail Improvements in Philadelphia
King of Prussia, PA – Philadelphia Parks and Recreation is planning to close Cobbs Creek Parkway between 70th Street and Woodland Avenue in Philadelphia, from Monday, December 2, through Sunday, December 15, for trail improvements, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use southeast 70th Street to Woodland Avenue. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
