PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Next Week for Utility Improvements Across Philadelphia Region
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures next week on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
Bucks County
- Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 263 (Upper York Road) between Street Road and Bellinghamshire Place in Solebury Township;
- Tuesday, April 14, through Friday, April 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 263 (York Road) between Old York Road and Tollhouse Road in Warminster Township; and
- Wednesday, April 15, through Friday, April 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 263 (York Road) between Mill Road and Green Ridge Road in Buckingham Township.
Chester County
- Monday, April 13, through Thursday, April 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, a lane closure is scheduled Mondays through Fridays on eastbound or westbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Route 252 (Bear Hill Road) and Paoli Pike in Tredyffrin Township;
- Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 52 (Lenape Road) between Lenape Farm Lane and Clarks Lane in Pocopson Township;
- Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 113 (Black Rock Road) between Winding River Lane and Riverwalk Drive in Phoenixville Borough;
- Monday, April 13, through Wednesday, April 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) between James Buchanan Drive and Barley Sheaf Road in Caln Township;
- Monday, April 13, through Wednesday, April 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 82 (Manor Road) between Hibernia Road and Culbertson Run in the City of Coatesville; and
- Monday, April 20, through Friday, April 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on southbound U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) between Independence Way and Briton Bridge Road in Pennsbury Township.
Delaware County
- Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 320 (Providence Road) between Harvey Road and Mallard Mill Run in Nether Providence Township; and
- Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 841 (Prospect Avenue) between Summit Avenue and Walnut Street in West Grove Borough.
Montgomery County
- Monday, April 13, through Monday, April 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road) between Mary Waters Ford Road and Righters Mill Road in Lower Merion Township; and
- Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike) between Winding Creek Lane and Sioux Avenue in Abington Township.
Philadelphia County
- Monday, April 13, through Thursday, April 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 232 (Oxford Avenue) between Algon Avenue and Loretto Avenue; and
- Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between 59th Street and Berwick Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
