Several State Roads Restricted for Local Trail Bridge Inspections in Tredyffrin Township

King of Prussia PA – Lane closures are scheduled on several state roads in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, on Tuesday, July 26, and Wednesday, July 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for bridge inspections along the Chester Valley Trail, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work locations are:

  • North Valley Road between Glenwold Drive and Fox Hill Lane;
  • West Swedesford Road between Duportail Road and Route 252 (Bear Hill Road/Swedesford Road); and
  • Valley Forge Road between Swedesford Road and Old State Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com or downloading the 511PA mobile application. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
