ITS Installation Next Week on I-95 North in Lower Chichester, Upper Chichester Townships

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) improvements will occur next week on northbound Interstate 95 in Lower Chichester and Upper Chichester townships, Delaware County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Tuesday, October 18, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a double right or double left lane closure will be in place on northbound I-95 between Naamans Creek Road and Blueball Avenue.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com or downloading the 511PA mobile application. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
