Tomorrow, July 4, 2023, the annual Independence Day Parade will take place at 4 p.m. along Jenkintown Road and Easton Road. The parade route will be closed to traffic starting at 3:00 p.m. Cars parked along the parade route will be towed. Fireworks will start at approximately 9:15 p.m. from the Abington School District Campus. Additionally, if you plan to addend either event, please monitor the weather closely as the National Weather Service is forecasting possible Thunderstorms tomorrow. In the event of a thunderstorm during either event, please seek shelter in your vehicle or the closest indoor area available until the storm passes.
