PennDOT announced that overhead bridge construction is scheduled at night next week on U.S. 422 and N. Gulph Road in Upper Merion Township.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Monday, September 23, and Tuesday, September 24, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a single-lane closure will be in place on eastbound U.S. 422 between 1st Avenue and U.S. 202.
Monday, September 23, and Tuesday, September 24, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on westbound U.S. 422 between U.S. 202 and 1st Avenue.
Monday, September 23, and Tuesday, September 24, from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a single-lane closure will be in place in both directions on N. Gulph Road between 1st Avenue and U.S. 202.
Motorists should use caution and be prepared for slow or stopped traffic approaching the work areas. The schedule is weather-dependent.
