SEPTA to Close U.S. 13 (Baltimore Avenue) for Rail Improvements in Philadelphia
Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that SEPTA will be performing rail improvements on U.S. 13 (Baltimore Avenue) in Philadelphia, beginning Saturday, October 19.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- From 7:00 AM Saturday, October 19, to 5:00 PM Saturday, October 26, U.S. 13 (Baltimore Avenue) will be closed and detoured between 60th Street and 61st Street. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use U.S. 13 (Baltimore Avenue), Church Lane, Marshall Road, and Cobbs Creek Parkway.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
