Stormwater Improvements Planned on County Line Road, Route 332 (Richboro Road) in Bucks, Montgomery Counties
King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that stormwater improvements are planned on County Line Road and Route 332 (Richboro Road) in Bucks and Montgomery counties under a $14.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, October 21, through Friday, October 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on County Line Road between Route 332 (Jacksonville Road) and Madison Avenue in Warminster Township, Bucks County, and Hatboro Township, Montgomery County, for curb work.
- Monday, October 21, through mid-December, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 332 (Newtown Richboro Road) between West Hanover Street and Rock Way in Northampton and Newtown townships, Bucks County, for stormwater pipe replacement.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
