Roadway Construction Scheduled Next Week on U.S. 422, Route 100 in North Coventry Township
King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that construction is scheduled next week on U.S. 422 and Route 100 in North Coventry Township, Chester County, under an $83.6 million project to reconstruct and improve approximately 2.1 miles of the expressway and replace bridges between the Sanatoga Interchange and Porter Road in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, March 3, through Friday, March 7, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, periodic single lane closures will be in place on westbound U.S. 422 between Route 100 and Keim Street for sign construction.
- Monday, March 3, through Friday, March 7, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, periodic single lane closures will be in place on eastbound U.S. 422 between Keim Street and Route 100 for sign construction.
- Monday, March 3, and Tuesday, March 4, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, a lane closure will be in place on northbound Route 100 in the vicinity of S. Hanover Street for guiderail construction.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
