Jenkintown Sunset 5K Run Tonight at 7pm
We are expecting a large turnout for tonight's race. The west side of the Borough will be directly impacted by the race. Travelers are advised to utilize York Road to navigate through the Borough. We will have several roads blocked or closed for the race tonight. Town Square parking lots will be closed at 4pm. Leedom Street between Summit Ave and West Ave, and Greenwood Ave. between Cedar St. and York Rd. will be closed at 5pm. Summit Ave. between York Road and Cedar Street will be closed at 6:15pm. These roads will be closed until 9pm.
The following roads will be impacted and blocked during the race starting at 6:30PM:
Leedom Street
Cherry Street
Johnson Street
Hillside Ave.
Cloverly Lane
Rodman Ave.
Runnymede Ave.
West Ave.
Linda Vista Road
Elm Street
Florence Ave.
Summit Ave.
Mather Road
Wyncote Road
Highland Ave.
Willow Street
Cedar Street

Walnut Street will be blocked at Washington Lane and at the Walnut Street Bridge (Jenkintown Rd./Stewart Ave.)
West Ave and Summit Ave will be blocked in the area of the Greenwood Ave Bridge. Traffic will be directed to Township Line Road.
