Lower Frederick Township BURN BAN is now in effect per 07/01/26 at 1:00p.m. Due to minimal precipitation, rapid fire spread is favorable! When the ban is lifted it will be posted on the Township website and Facebook. If you currently have a burn permit, it is no longer valid!!

ReadyMontco - Upper Providence Township Alert

Please be aware of expected heavy traffic volume and possible delays in the areas of Bridge Street in the Mont Clare section of the township and 2nd Avenue in the Mingo/Royersford section of the township from 1pm – 5pm on Thursday July 2nd.

This is due to the transit of the Union Pacific Big Boy Train #4014 coming through our area. Please obey all road closure signs. Stay back at least 25 Feet from all railroad tracks. This includes drones. 4014 is a steam train. The steam will burn you if you’re too close.

Railroad tracks and right of way are private property. DO NOT TRESPASS.
