Extreme Heat Warning! Dangerously hot & humid conditions expected through Wednesday, July 9, with highs in the mid-90s to 100°F and little relief forecasted in the evening temperatures. Heat indices near 100 to 105 degrees on Tuesday will result in an increased risk of heat related illness
Monday & Tuesday will be the hottest days, so please be prepared and follow heat safety guidelines:
• Extreme risk for heat-related illness
• Stay indoors if possible
• Drink plenty of water
• Avoid strenuous outdoor activity during peak heat
• Check on neighbors, especially the elderly & vulnerable

Potential Flash Flooding! Scattered showers and thunderstorms are capable of producing locally heavy rainfall amounts of 2-5", which could lead to flash flooding. Additional scattered showers and Thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday will be capable of producing locally heavy rainfall and damaging wind gusts. Never walk or drive through flooded sidewalks or roadways; turn around, don't drown!

Traffic Alert: Road Closures for Skippack's 4th of July Parade

Skippack residents and visitors are advised of several temporary road closures in place for Skippack's Annual 4th of July Parade on Friday, July 4, 2025. The closures will begin at 10:00 AM and are expected to last until approximately 1:00 PM, or until the parade concludes.

Impacted Roads Include:

Route 73 (Skippack Pike) from Route 113 (Bridge Road) to Forty Foot Road / Evansburg Road will be closed to all traffic. All roads that intersect with this section of Route 73 will also experience restricted access.

Route 113 (Bridge Road) will be closed at: Cressman Road, Creamery Road and Mensch Road.

Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes and allow extra travel time during the closure period. Local public safety officials will be on-site to assist with detours and ensure public safety.
