PECO to Restrict West Chester Pike (Route 3) During the Day for Utility Construction in Marple Township

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning a right lane closure on eastbound West Chester Pike (Route 3) approaching the ramp to southbound Interstate 476 in Marple Township, Delaware County beginning Wednesday, March 4, for utility pole replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.  Weather permitting, the lane closure will be in place daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through Friday, March 13.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit. For a list of all utility work and other construction projects impacting state-owned highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, visit our District 6 Traffic Bulletin.
