Verizon Pennsylvania to Restrict U.S. 30, Route 3 (West Chester Pike) Next Week for Utility Construction in Chester County
King of Prussia, PA – Verizon Pennsylvania is planning single lane closures on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in East Whiteland Township, and on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in West Goshen Township, Chester County for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Monday, May 4, through Friday, May 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closure is scheduled on eastbound and westbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Route 29 (Morehall Road) and Valley Road in East Whiteland Township; and
- Wednesday, May 6, through Friday, May 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on eastbound Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Westtown Road and Prospect Avenue in West Goshen Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
