PennDOT - District 6 News: PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Improvements in Bucks, Chester and Delaware Counties

PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Improvements in Bucks, Chester and Delaware Counties

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM next week on several state highways in Bucks, Chester and Delaware counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.  

The work schedule is: 

Bucks County
  • Monday, June 7, 2021, through Tuesday, June 7, 2022, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 332 (Yardley Newtown Road) between Creamery Road and Drew Drive in Northampton Township; and
  • Monday, June 7, 2021, through Tuesday, June 7, 2022, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 532 (Buck Road) between Heron Road and Woodlake Drive in Northampton Township.
Chester County
  • Monday, June 7, through Friday, June 11, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 282 (Creek Road) between Highspire Road and Marshall Road in Wallace Township;
  • Monday, June 7, through Friday, June 11, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 282 (Creek Road) between Crawford Road and Hawk Hill Road in East Brandywine Township;
  • Monday, June 7, through Friday, June 11, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 926 (Street Road) between Shady Grove Way and Cheyney Thornton Road in Thornbury Township; 
  • Monday, June 7, through Wednesday, June 30, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) between Swedesford Road and Shoen Road in West Whiteland Township;
  • Monday, June 7, through Wednesday, June 30, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 113 (Uwchlan Avenue) between Pennsylvania Avenue and Norwood House Road in Downingtown Borough;
  • Monday, June 7, through Wednesday, June 30, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 282 (Wallace Avenue) between Pennsylvania Avenue and Norwood Road in Downingtown Borough; and
  • Wednesday, June 9, through Friday, June 18, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 82 (Manor Road) at the intersection with Culbertson Run Road in West Brandywine Township.
Delaware County
  • Monday, June 7, through Friday, June 25, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 320 (Chester Road) between College Avenue and Swarthmore Avenue in Swarthmore Borough.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent. 

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
