King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing tree removal operations on Thornton Road in Concord Township, Delaware County, beginning Wednesday, January 22.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Wednesday, January 22, through Friday, January 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Thornton Road will be closed and detoured between U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) and Mill Road. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike), Brinton Lake Road, and Mill Road.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
