A Snow Alert/Emergency will go into effect on Saturday, January 17, at 7:00 pm. We are sharing this information in advance so residents have time to make necessary parking arrangements before the emergency begins.
The first storm produced more snowfall than originally forecasted and a second storm of similar impact is now expected. As a result, the Borough is calling a Snow Alert/Emergency to allow crews to safely and efficiently clear roadways from both storms. To assist crews and ensure efficient snow removal, all vehicles in an alert/emergency route must be moved; vehicles not relocated during the Snow Alert/Emergency will be subject to ticketing. Please use caution and allow crews the space needed to safely treat and clear roadways.
