UPT Office of Emergency Management is partnering with Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services to distribute Potassium Iodide (KI) tablets. KI is used as a protective measure that protects the thyroid gland in the event of a radiation release from the Limerick Clean Energy Station (formerly known as LGS). Stop in the Meeting Hall at the Upper Providence Township Administration Building at 1286 Black Rock Rd on Thursday August 13 from 9 AM - 3 PM to receive your free KI tablets.
