PECO GAS MAIN WORK – SATURDAY
Residents are advised that PECO crews will begin work at approximately 6:00 AM this Saturday, September 26, throughout Rockledge as part of the ongoing gas main project.
PECO requested the early start because multiple crews must coordinate to complete the gas main retirement, tie-ins, cuts, and caps. Beginning at 6:00 AM will also allow crews to take advantage of lighter traffic and complete the work as efficiently as possible.
Work hours are expected to be approximately 6:00 AM–2:00 PM.
Crews will backfill completed areas as work progresses to remove roadway plates as soon as possible.
We understand that a 6:00 AM Saturday start is earlier than normal, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as PECO works to complete this phase of the project.
