I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) Restricted Overnights Next Week for Survey Operations in Upper Merion and Lower Merion Townships

​King of Prussia, PA – Overnight lane closures are scheduled next week on Interstate 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) in both directions between the U.S. 202 and Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road) interchanges in Upper Merion and Lower Merion townships, Montgomery County, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, for survey operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, August 24, through Thursday, August 27, eastbound lane closures will be in effect; and
  • Friday, August 28, westbound lane closures will be in effect.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
