Perkiomen Creek Flooding

Hello. This is Michael Rohlfing, Emergency Management Coordinator of Lower Providence Township.

Significant rainfall is forecasted to fall within Lower Providence Township. Currently the Perkiomen creek is at 1.3 feet and is expected to rise to 17.8 feet. The National Weather Service is indicating that the creek will crest at approximately 12:00pm on Thursday, September 2nd, but that is subject to change. Residents in flood prone areas are strongly encouraged to evacuate.

Residents requiring emergency assistance should call 911.
