This is a message from Royersford Borough Office of Emergency Management. The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch until Wednesday at 6:00 pm and a Wind Advisory for our area until Wednesday at 3:00 am. The forecast calls for up to 4 inches of rain and wind gusts above 55 mph. This storm could cause flooded roadways and bring down trees and powerlines. Please use caution when driving and avoid standing water. Do not drive around barricades, they are placed for safety. Roadways may be flooded in the morning, even after the rain stops. Remember, turn around, don't drown. Based on projected water levels for First Ave be prepared to move your vehicles to higher ground before the water rises.
