Bridge Sidewalk Replacement Scheduled on Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) in City of Coatesville
King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that sidewalk replacement is scheduled on the bridge carrying Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) over the west branch of Brandywine Creek in the City of Coatesville, Chester County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, October 21, through Friday, November 22, the right turning lane access on eastbound Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) to 1st Avenue will be shortened. In addition, westbound Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) motorists approaching the northbound Route 82/1st Avenue Intersection will not have shoulder access.
Built in 1914, the Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) bridge over the west branch of the Brandywine Creek carries approximately 16,027 vehicles, daily.
