Resurfacing Planned at Night Next Week on Interstate 295 in Bucks County
King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that milling and paving operations will occur at night next week on I-295 in Middletown Township, Bucks County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, October 21, through Wednesday, October 23, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on eastbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1.
- Thursday, October 24, and Friday, October 25, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on westbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
