Dangerously hot & humid conditions expected throughout the week and into the holiday weekend, with highs over 100 degrees and little relief forecasted in the evening temperatures. Thursday and Friday will have extreme risk for heat-related illness, so please be prepared and follow heat safety guidelines:
• Stay indoors if possible
• Drink plenty of water
• Avoid strenuous outdoor activity during peak heat
• Check on neighbors, especially the elderly & vulnerable
