I-95 Northbound Lane Closures Friday Night at Girard Avenue Interchange in Philadelphia for Pavement Repair

I-95 Northbound Lane Closures Friday Night at Girard Avenue Interchange in
Philadelphia for Pavement Repair

2/25/2016-KING OF PRUSSIA

Interstate 95 north will be reduced from three lanes to one lane at the
Girard
Avenue Interchange in Philadelphia from 8:00 PM Friday, February 26, to
5:00 AM
Saturday, February 27, for pavement repairs, the Pennsylvania Department of

Transportation (PennDOT) said today.

Motorists are advised to use an alternate route or allow additional time
for
travel on northbound I-95 during this operation because traffic backups
will
occur. The operation is dependent on the weather.

Crews will repair a section of deteriorated pavement approaching the bridge

over Palmer Street in the I-95/Girard Avenue Interchange construction zone.

Once the physical work is completed, the lane closures will remain in place
for
an hour or more to allow the concrete to cure to its required strength.
