Winter Weather Advisory

This is an important message from ReadyPhiladelphia.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and sleet, which is in effect from 6:00AM Monday to 2:00AM Tuesday.

  • Timing: Light snow could begin as early as daybreak, but should increase by mid-morning. It will continue through the day before mixing with sleet and then changing to rain during the evening.  Early morning temperatures will be very cold, in the single digits and teens in most locations. They are expected to rise into the 30s during the afternoon and remain steady or continue to rise Monday night.
  • Main Impact: Snow and sleet can make travel hazardous. Snow could impact portions of the morning and evening commute. Accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are possible before any changeover to rain.
  • Precautionary / Preparedness Actions: A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and sleet will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
