I-95 Lane Closures at Night Next Week for Survey Operations in Delaware County

King of Prussia, PA – Moving lane closures will be in place on Interstate 95 in both directions from the Delaware state line to the Delaware/Philadelphia County line in Lower Chichester, Upper Chichester, Chester, Ridley and Tinicum townships, the City of Chester and Upland and Ridley Park boroughs, Delaware County on Monday, December 16, through Wednesday, December 18, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM for survey operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. 

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because significant backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com or downloading the 511PA application for iPhone and Android devices. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 950 traffic cameras.
