U.S. 422 Lane Closures Next Thursday for Barrier Removal in Limerick Township

King of Prussia, PA – U.S. 422 motorists will encounter single lane closures in both directions on Thursday, December 19 in Limerick Township, Montgomery County for barrier removal under a project to improve a five-mile section of the expressway between the Royersford/Trappe and Sanatoga interchanges, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule and locations are:

  • From 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the right lane is scheduled to close on westbound U.S. 422 between Township Line Road and Evergreen Road; and
  • From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the right lane is scheduled to close on eastbound U.S. 422 between Park Road and Country Club Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
