PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Next Week for Utility Improvements Across Philadelphia Region

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures next week on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

Bucks County

  • Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 332 (Newtown Richmond Road) between Fir Drive and Holland Road in Buckingham Township.

Chester County

  • Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 52 (Lenape Road) between Lenape Farm Lane and Clarks Lane in Pocopson Township;
  • Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 113 (Black Rock Road) between Winding River Lane and Riverwalk Drive in Phoenixville Borough;
  • Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 372 (Valley Road) between Belvedere Avenue and Spaulding Avenue in Sadsbury Township;
  • Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 841 (Coatesville Road) between Hannum Mill Road and Strode Avenue in Londonderry Township;
  • Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 896 (New London Road) between Gypsy Hill Road and Parsons Road in Franklin Township;
  • Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 926 (Street Road) at Lamorotown Road in East Marlboro Township;
  • Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 926 (Street Road) between Route 82 (Manor Road) and Sportsman Lane in East Marlboro Township;
  • Monday, April 27, through Thursday, May 7, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on westbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Spring Street and Paoli Pike in Tredyffrin Township. During this operation Paoli Pike will be closed and detoured at Cedar Hollow Road. Motorists will be directed to use U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue);
  • Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) between Wayne Avenue and Vine Street in Honey Brook Borough; and
  • Tuesday, April 28, through Friday, May 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 10 (Limestone Road) between Gum Tree Road and Route 41 (Gap Newport Pike) in West Fallowfield Township.

Delaware County

  • Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Lynn Boulevard and U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) in Upper Darby Township; and
  • Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 320 (Providence Road) between Harvey Road and Mallard Mill Run in Nether Providence Township.

Montgomery County

  • Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road) between Mary Waters Ford Road and Righters Mill Road in Lower Merion Township;
  • Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 29 (Main Street) between 8th Street and 10th Street in Pennsburg Borough;
  • Thursday, April 30, through Tuesday, May 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 63 (Welsh Road) at the intersection with Dryden Road in Upper Dublin and Upper Moreland townships; and
  • Monday, May 4, through Friday, May 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 309 between Oak Lane Road and Penrose Avenue in Cheltenham Township.

Philadelphia County

  • Monday, April 27, through Thursday, April 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between 59th Street and Berwick Road; and
  • Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 232 (Oxford Avenue) between Algon Avenue and Loretto Avenue.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
