PennDOT - District 6 News: U.S. 1, I-95 Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week for Guide Rail Repair in Delaware, Bucks and Philadelphia Counties

U.S. 1, I-95 Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week for Guide Rail Repair in Delaware, Bucks and Philadelphia Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Daytime and nighttime lane closures are scheduled on U.S. 1 in Delaware County and Interstate 95 in Bucks and Philadelphia Counties for guide rail repairs the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, June 24, through Friday, June 28, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, periodic lane closures are scheduled on U.S. 1 between Hoffmans Mill Road and Wemouth Road in Chadds Ford and Springfield townships, Delaware County;
  • Tuesday, June 25, through Thursday, June 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the Academy Road/Linden Avenue and Route 213 interchanges in Bensalem Township, Bucks County and Philadelphia; and
  • Thursday, June 27, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM a left lane closure is scheduled on southbound I-95 between the Academy Road/Linden Avenue and Cottman Avenue interchanges in Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
