PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Improvements in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures next week on several state highways in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.  

The work schedule is: 

Chester County  
  • Monday, April 12, through Friday, April 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) at the intersection with Chestnut Road in Tredyffrin Township;
  • Monday, April 12, through Friday, April 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike) between Ridge Road and Garden Circle in Westtown Township;
  • Monday, April 12, through Friday, April 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 322 (High Street) at the intersection with Sharpless Street in West Chester Borough;
  • Monday, April 12, through Friday, April 16, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 10 (Limestone Road) between High Point Road and Ewing Road in West Fallowfield Township and Upper Oxford Township;
  • Monday, April 12, through Friday, April 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 52 (Price Street) between Brandywine Street and Wayne Street in West Chester Borough;
  • Monday, April 12, through Friday, April 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 252 (Leopard Road) between U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Greenlawn Road in Tredyffrin Township;
  • Monday, April 12, through Friday, April 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 282 (Creek Road) between Crawford Road and Hawk Hill Road in East Brandywine Township;
  • Monday, April 12, through Friday, April 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 926 (Street Road) between Northgate Road and Westtown Thornton Road in Thornbury Township; 
  • Monday, April 12, through Friday, April 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) between Route 52 (Lenape Road) and Route 52 (Kennett Pike) in Kennett Township; and
  • Wednesday, April 14, through Friday, April 16, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Paoli Pike and Spring Street in Tredyffrin Township.
Delaware County
  • Monday, April 12, through Friday, April 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 352 (Edgmont Avenue) between Hilltop Drive and Whitely Road in Brookhaven Borough;
  • Tuesday, April 13, through Friday, May 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 320 (Sproul Road) between Darby Road and Kent Road in Haverford Township and Marple Township; and
  • Tuesday, April 13, through Friday, May 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 320 (Sproul Road) between Marple Road and Springfield Road in Marple Township. 
Montgomery County
  • Thursday, April 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) between Penn Avenue and Tennis Avenue in Abington Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent. 

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
