U.S. 1 North (Media Bypass) Lane Closure Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Middletown, Upper Providence Townships, Delaware County

King of Prussia, PA – A right lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 (Media Bypass) between the Baltimore Pike and Route 252/Media interchanges in Middletown and Upper Providence townships, Delaware County, on Tuesday, April 6, through Friday, April 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

Work on this operation will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, special signage and relevant training.
