I-95 Nighttime Lane Closures, Ramp Restrictions Scheduled Next Week in
Philadelphia

Periodic overnight lane closures will be in place on northbound Interstate
95
between the Bridge Street and Betsy Ross Bridge/Aramingo Avenue
interchanges in
Philadelphia on Sunday, January 21, through Friday, January 26, from 10:00
PM
to 5:00 AM the following morning for soil borings, the Pennsylvania
Department
of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

In addition, lane restrictions will be in place periodically on the
northbound
I-95 ramp to Aramingo Avenue and the ramp from the Betsy Ross Bridge to
I-95
south on Monday, January 22, through Friday, January 26, from 9:00 AM to
3:00
PM for soil borings.

The soil borings are part of the advance engineering activities related to
upcoming reconstruction of I-95 at Betsy Ross Bridge/Aramingo Avenue and
Bridge
Street interchanges.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 through the
work
areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
