Lane Closures Scheduled on Several State Highways for Overhead Sign
Inspections in Montgomery and Delaware Counties

Lane closures are scheduled on several state highways in Montgomery and
Delaware counties for overhead sign inspections, the Pennsylvania
Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Tuesday, January 23, and Wednesday, January 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
a
right lane closure is scheduled in both directions on Interstate 76 between
the
U.S. 1 (City Avenue) and Belmont Avenue interchanges in Lower Merion
Township,
Montgomery County;
• Thursday, January 25, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, a left lane closure is
scheduled on westbound I-76 between the U.S. 1 (City Avenue) and Belmont
Avenue
interchanges in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County;
• Thursday, January 25, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a left lane closure is
scheduled on eastbound I-76 between the Belmont Avenue and U.S. 1 (City
Avenue)
interchanges in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County;
• Tuesday, January 30, and Wednesday, January 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
right and double left lane closures are scheduled on northbound Interstate
476
between the Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue)
interchanges in Radnor Township, Delaware County;
• Tuesday, February 6, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, a right lane closure is
scheduled on eastbound Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Ardmore Road and

Lawrence Road in Marple Township, Delaware County;
• Tuesday, February 6, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a left lane closure is
scheduled on eastbound Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Ardmore Avenue
and
Lawrence Road in Marple Township, Delaware County;
• Wednesday, February 7, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, a right lane closure is
scheduled on westbound Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Ardmore Avenue
and
Lawrence Road in Marple Township, Delaware County;
• Wednesday, February 7, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, double left lane
closures
are scheduled on westbound Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Ardmore
Avenue
and Lawrence Road in Marple Township, Delaware County;
• Thursday, February 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, double right lane closures
are
scheduled on southbound I-476 between the U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and
Route
3 (West Chester Pike) interchanges in Marple and Haverford townships,
Delaware
County; and
• Thursday, February 8, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, a left lane closure is
scheduled on southbound I-476 between the U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and
Route
3 (West Chester Pike) interchanges in Marple and Haverford townships,
Delaware
County.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
