I-95, I-476, I-76 Among Several Highways Restricted Next Week for Overhead
Sign Inspections in the Philadelphia Region

Lane closures are scheduled next week on several state highways and
interstates
including Interstate 95, Interstate 476, and Interstate 76 in Delaware,
Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, and Chester counties for overhead sign
inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced
today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, June 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
southbound I-95 between the Ridley Park and Island Avenue interchanges in
Philadelphia and Ridley and Tinicum townships, Delaware County;
• Monday, June 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
north
bound I-95 between the Academy Road/Linden Avenue and Bristol interchanges
in
Philadelphia and Bensalem Township, Bucks County;
• Monday, June 4, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, a right lane closure is
scheduled
on the ramp from northbound I-476 to Matsonford Road in West Conshohocken
borough, Montgomery County;
• Monday, June 4, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, a left lane closure is
scheduled on
the ramp from eastbound I-76 to I-476 North in West Conshohocken Borough,
Montgomery County;
• Monday, June 4, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
Matsonford Road between Old Gulph Road and Route 23 (Crawford Avenue) in
West
Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County;
• Tuesday, June 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
southbound I-95 between the I-476 North and Ridley Park interchanges in
Ridley
Township, Delaware County;
• Tuesday, June 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
the
ramp from southbound I-95 to U.S. 322 in Chester Township, Delaware County;

• Tuesday, June 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled in
both
directions on I-95 between the Street Road and Levittown/Penndel
interchanges
in Bensalem Township, Bucks County;
• Wednesday, June 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled
in
both directions on U.S. 202 between Route 252 (Valley Forge Road) and
Chesterbrook Boulevard in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County;
• Wednesday, June 6, and Thursday, June 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
closures are scheduled in both directions on I-95 between the Commodore
Barry
Bridge and I-476 North interchanges in the City of Chester and Chester and
Ridley townships, Delaware County;
• Thursday, June 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled in

both directions on I-95 between the U.S. 1 and Levittown/Penndel
interchanges
in Bensalem Township, Bucks County;
• Friday, June 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
MacDade Boulevard between Bullens Lane and Fairview Road in Ridley
Township,
Delaware County;
• Friday, June 8, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM lane closures are scheduled on
the
ramp from MacDade Boulevard to I-95 in Ridley Township, Delaware County;
and
• Friday, June 8, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
the
ramp from westbound U.S. 322 to I-95 South in Chester Township, Delaware
County.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All activities are weather dependent.
