Wind Advisory

This is an important message from ReadyPhiladelphia.


Wind Advisory in effect from 2 PM this afternoon until midnight tonight. Gusts up to 50 mph are possible.  Exercise caution.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 2 PM this afternoon to
midnight EDT tonight.

* Winds... west 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Timing... late this afternoon through this evening. The strongest
wind will occur this evening.

* Impacts... strong wind could cause power outages due to downed
power lines. Additionally, there could be tree limbs down. Use
caution if you drive a high profile or lightweight vehicle,
especially on north/south roadways.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that very windy conditions are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially for
high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Light-weight outdoor
objects such as patio furniture and garbage cans should be
secured.
