The operations are associated with construction contracts underway to
improve
the ramp system at the Betsy Ross Bridge/Aramingo Avenue Interchange, and
to
rebuild the Cottman Avenue (Route 73) and Girard Avenue interchanges and
reconstruct and widen more than three miles of I-95 adjoining those
interchanges.

The work schedule is:

• On Monday, March 28, through Friday, April 1, I-95 north will be reduced

interchanges from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning for construction

activities;

• On Tuesday, March 29, through Thursday, March 31, northbound and
southbound
I-95 will be reduced from three lanes to two at the Betsy Ross

setting and construction activities on overhead ramps. Intermittent
stoppage of
up to 15 minutes may occur on I-95 and on ramps at the interchange during
these
operations; and

• On Wednesday, March 30, I-95 south will be reduced from four lanes to two

between the Girard Avenue and Interstate 676 interchanges from 10:00 PM to
5:00
AM the following morning for the installation of an overhead sign.

In addition to restrictions on I-95, travel on several surface streets at
the
Girard Avenue interchange will be restricted next week for demolition of
the
northbound viaduct between Palmer and Ann streets. The work schedule is:

• On Monday, March 28, through Friday, April 1, intermittent stoppages of
up to
15 minutes may occur on Girard Avenue between Berks and Richmond streets
from
9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning for overhead construction;
