Townships

County Line Road will be closed and detoured between Fairmont Avenue and
Park
Road in Warrington Township, Bucks County and Horsham Township, Montgomery
County, on Monday, March 28 through Friday, April 8, for structural repairs
to
the bridge over a branch of Little Neshaminy Creek, the Pennsylvania
Department
of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

During construction, County Line Road through traffic will be detoured over

Lower State Road, Street Road, and Route 611 (Easton Road). Local access
will
be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow
extra
time when traveling through the area.

Crews from PennDOT's Bucks County Maintenance Unit will repair the
stone-arch
bridge by reinforcing the arch and wing walls with concrete, and by
replacing
stones, resetting dislocated stones, and applying new mortar

The signal-span, stone masonry arch bridge was built in 1890 and
reconstructed
in 1962. The bridge is structurally deficient. It is 15 feet long and 26
feet
wide. The structure carries 14,169 vehicles a day. The bridge will be
posted
with a 10-ton weight limit when it reopens to traffic .
